How Wi-Fi Can “feel” Your Body
Wi-Fi signals bounce off everything in a room, including you. When you move, you change how those signals scatter, and the router can read that change in something called channel state information. Researchers have spent a decade turning that raw data into surprisingly detailed readings.
Two things turn out to be measurable and, more importantly, personal:
- Your gait. The rhythm, length, and timing of your stride are distinctive enough that lab systems have identified people from their walk alone, with no camera involved.

Where This Actually Lands
My bet is that gait and heartbeat sensing show up as a second factor, not a password. The network still wants your device or a passkey to confirm who you are, and the biometric quietly backs it up by confirming a real person is present, not a cloned signal from the parking lot.
