Apple Music Replay is officially live for 2025, which means your personalized listening recap is ready to explore. But Apple didn’t stop there. Alongside Replay, the company has also released its global charts for the year, including the five most played songs across Apple Music worldwide. And the results chart a fascinating snapshot of the year in music.

The Top 5 Most Played Songs on Apple Music This Year

Apple’s data covers listening activity from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025. During that time, five songs rose above every other track on the platform.

Here are the global leaders:

  1. ROSÉ & Bruno Mars, “APT.”
  2. Kendrick Lamar & SZA, “luther”
  3. Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars, “Die With A Smile”
  4. Kendrick Lamar, “Not Like Us”
  5. Billie Eilish, “BIRDS OF A FEATHER”

It’s been a massive year for collaborations, with Bruno Mars appearing twice in the top three and Kendrick Lamar charting two of the top four songs worldwide. Billie Eilish rounds out the list with one of her most streamed singles ever.

If you want to dive deeper, Apple has created a full Top 100 Most Played Songs playlist available directly inside Apple Music.

Replay Brings Even More Charts and Playlists

Replay isn’t only about your personal top artists and tracks. Apple also released a series of playlists that highlight global listening trends, regional standouts and even the songs people searched for the most.

Inside the Apple Music app you’ll find:

  • Top 100 Global
  • Top 100 USA and dozens of regional charts
  • Top 100 Shazam
  • Top 100 Most-Read Lyrics
  • Genre and mood-specific year-end charts

This makes Replay more than just a recap. It doubles as a deep dive into the entire year of music across Apple’s global audience.

Fun Insights From Apple’s Year in Music

Alongside the main charts, Apple also shared some extra stats that help paint a full picture of the year.

One standout: KPop Demon Hunters’s “Golden” spent 70 consecutive days at number one on the Daily Top 100. No other song even came close to that level of sustained dominance in 2025.

Another highlight: Morgan Wallen landed 12 songs inside the Top 100, the most of any artist this year. His song I’m The Problem reached number 18 worldwide and soared to number 4 on the USA chart.

And if you’re wondering why certain late-year hits didn’t appear higher on the lists, Apple’s tracking window explains it. For example, Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl had less than a month of available listening time before the cutoff on October 31.

A Huge Year for Apple Music and an Early Look at 2026

Replay remains one of Apple Music’s most popular annual features, and this year’s global charts show just how varied and international streaming habits have become. With K-Pop, hip-hop, pop and country all dominating different parts of the rankings, Apple Music’s 2025 charts feel more diverse than ever.
